I don't think they were flying a 179Y config, CMM had 30 or 31" pitch. Either way, the type of customer than flew Canada 3000 (and Tango today) is distinctly different than JetBlue. Let's say that Excess-Weight Baggage was a very juicy revenue stream for CMM, and I'm sure Tango is completely enforcing their weight restrictions on baggage for $$s and keeping their YYZ-YVR flights within limits.
