You said the Tango planes carry 156 or 159 seats.  jetBlue does JFK-LGB,
JFK-SAN, etc. with 162 seat A320s (though soon to be 156 with more room in the
back), carrying SAT-TV equipment.  I bet the Canada 3000 planes were in the
charter, all Y, 179 seat config
