you're correct. i missed the one-stop indication for 2 of the BOS-LAX
flights.

in advertising, some airlines used to state these as direct flights. Direct
flights are different than non-stop. most consumers don't think to ask the
difference between non-stop and direct flights. direct flights, you're on
the same aircraft, but there is a stop either ORD or STL in this case.

 Um, AA only does 3 flights a day LAX-BOS, not 5.  They are 763, 762, 752.
They used to do more like 5, DL used to do 1 or 2 non-stops, and UA used to
do
3 or 4
