Yield management is about how seats are sold -- how many seats are available in each fare class -- not which seats are available for pre-flight assignment. Yield management personnel couldn't care the least about if everyone who has bought a ticket has a specific seat assignment or none of them do. They simply care about how many seats are available for sale at different prices. Greg
