It is corporate welfare, but unlike the KC-10 debacle, this is actually a
good deal.  The KC-135s are too old, too inefficient, and maintainance hogs.  A
bunch of them still need to be reengined, and that alone will cost big bucks.
The 767s are a much better plane for the job now.  I am not one for big
military spending, but this one saves us much more than it costs.  Plus, it helps
the company, as shady as it is, that makes the best planes in the world
