Of course, everyone is entitled to his opinion, but I for one certainly don't
share the "horribly uncomfortable" view. On the contrary, a BAe 146 with 2-3
seating is one of the most comfortable jets around. It may not look it, but the
fuselage is actually wider than that of a DC-9/MD-80/717. So 2-3 seating in a
146 is VERY comfortable. On the other hand, some airlines squeeze in 3-3
seating, and then, yes, the 146 is cramped.

As for legroom, that depends on the airline, not the aircraft, so if that's
cramped complain to the operator, not the manufacturer.
