Press Release An aircraft operated by BRIT AIR was involved in an accident at Brest/Guipavas airport. The aircraft is a CRJ100, registration F-GRJS, which was operating flight AF5672 between Nantes and Brest, leaving Nantes at 23:15. There were 21 passengers and 3 crew members aboard this flight. The aircraft landed and over-ran the runway at Brest a little after midnight. Of the 24 passengers and crew, the captain is dead and 9 occupants were admitted to hospital (2 serious and 7 for observation). The others, who were unhurt, were transferred and welcomed to a hotel in Brest. Some passengers have already left hospital or the hotel. All were being cared for by pyschological counsellers. The CRJ100 aircraft F-GRJS had been in service since January 200 and had accumulated 6600 flying hours.
