Hawaii court extends restraining order against Mainline Airways HONOLULU (AP) =97 A judge on Monday extended a court order barring a company= =20 from selling any more bargain-priced airline tickets between Honolulu and=20 Los Angeles. The temporary restraining order obtained by the state against= =20 Mainline Airways LLC and its founder, 18-year-old Luke Thompson, was=20 extended until July 10 by Circuit Judge Eden Elizabeth Hifo. Thompson's Web= =20 site was shut down after offering one-way tickets between Hawaii and=20 California for $89. Thompson told The Associated Press last week that he=20 founded Mainline out of his dorm room at Babson College near Boston, where= =20 he recently completed his freshman year. The court order bars Thompson from= =20 selling any more tickets over the Internet and using any bank accounts=20 associated with his business for any reason other than to provide refunds=20 to customers. Both Hawaii and Massachusetts are suing the company and=20 Thompson, alleging that Mainline had been selling tickets for months on=20 flights scheduled to begin July 3, but, with just a few weeks to go, had=20 neither planes nor crews nor the permits and approvals to operate flights.= =20 Thompson, of Yardley, Pa., has said that his company "had every intention=20 of doing this operation." But authorities in Hawaii and Massachusetts, both= =20 of which have been granted temporary injunctions against Thompson and his=20 company, say Mainline was nothing more than a Web site.
