Of course WN would love to expand out of DAL, but the benefits are so much more with Wright/Shelby. They have a virtual monopoly on the downtown airport of one of the largest US cities. Considering that a lot of the O&D traffic for DAL is to/from Wright/Shelby states, that also helps. People can always connect if they have to get to DAL on WN.
