32 years at WN seem to say that they do. Obviously, the product has to be acceptable. It cannot drive people away. Also, the airline has to be run better than say, Vanguard or National. Still, low fares are the number one thing Americans see, and other countries it is not far from the same (Ask the people who drive almost 3 hours from Cardif to STN to fly Ryanair, or those who sit on the HHN bus). Service is not the only thing either, ask SR. When you get TV on jetBlue, or truly nice people like on Southwest, along with lower fares, people will fly you and you will make money
