W. Douglas Parker, the Tempe, Ariz.-based company's president, chairman and chief executive, however, received options on 600,000 shares, the Securities and Exchange Commission filing said. According to the filing, Parker was granted options on 100,000 shares at an exercise price of $3.80 a share and options on 500,000 shares at $5.55 a share. Parker received no options grant in 2001, according to the proxy. He exercised no options in 2002, and held exercisable options on 515,001 shares, the filing said. He also held unexercisable options on 664,999 shares, the filing said. The executive was promoted to his current positions in September 2001, t= he filing said. After the terrorist attacks on Sept. 11, 2001, Parker chose on Oct. 16 to forgo his salary for the rest of the year, and he accepted $354,583 in pay for the full year, the filing said.
