UNITED AIRLINES' MECHANICS AGREE TO PAY CUTS
United Airlines - struggling to restructure under bankruptcy
protection - announced Friday that the union representing its
mechanics tentatively agreed to a new contract that will save the
airline $2.09 billion US over six years.
