This weekend, "Air Omega UK" carried out its first flight from AGB to = NAP with a chartered Dorner 328JET. Augsburg airport ran a story about = the flight and it was said that it was a new "scottish-german" airline. = Telling from the name and the people involved (the part-owner of German = airline Air Omega), it is some sort of joint-venture between Scottish = airline Highland Airways and German airline Air Omega. Air Omega only = operates freight flights with two E120F, currently on behalf of Air = Atlantique/Highland out of Coventry, and probably has no passenger = licence - something Highland Airways could throw in. Has anybody some = insight to what extent Highland Airways is involved in this and what the = nature of this operation is ? The article says that Air Omega UK plans = to start scheduled services out of AGB with 37seaters which are due for = delivery shortly (Dash 8-100s, I guess). TIA, Matthias
