Land mining the airport perimeter was the giveaway. Things are bad but no
where near that bad.

Personally, I rather like the idea of creating a 'sterile' clear zone around
commercial airports, but not for security. It would certainly slow down the
anti-growth groups, a problem (insufficient runway capacity) that will
reemerge once some of this terrorism turmoil subsides and people return to
flying in the numbers we were used to seeing.
