Mike If I remember correctly a Captain for United flying a B720 (based on the mid 1960's contract) made just slightly over $42 per hour. Guaranteed 85 hours pay for IIRC 76 hrs actual. First office made 60% of the Captain and the FO made 40%. I was flying right seat part time in a corporate BE8S for $25 plus $5 an hour. $42 an hour wasn't to shabby then as a matter of fact today either.
