cut some international and domestic flights, the latest of the major
U.S. carriers to slash schedules as a result of the steep fall-off in
travel since the start of the war in Iraq.
The airline, the No. 7 domestic carrier, is hoping to emerge from
Chapter 11 by the end of this month.
"These schedule changes constitute a less than 5 percent reduction in
available seat miles, or a 4 percent reduction in total departures," the
Arlington, Virginia-based company said in a statement.=20
