No longer. Ottawa is a moderately small market; the entire metro area barely cracks 1 million (although with government jobs, it's a fairly well-off 1 million). To compare, the 3 American metro areas with similar populations are Grand Rapids, MI; Oklahoma City, OK, and Louisville, KY. The largest American metro area without an overseas flight appears to be Sacramento, CA, at 1.8 million. Matthew :)
