L. Makanza, Namibia's acting director of civil aviation, says the Cessna managed to limp back to Eros Airport while the TAAG Angolan Boeing completed its flight to Lubango. Makanza says an investigation is underway to determine the cause of the collision. Aviation sources say radar and safety equipment at Windhoek Airport is old and outdated. Nobody was injured. Five years ago a German passenger liner collided with a US airforce plane off the Namibian coast, killing all those on board.
