(AP) -- A construction crew ruptured a gas line at the Burbank airport late Thursday night, but there were no reports of injuries or flight disruptions. Crews relocating a roadway into a Southwest Airlines terminal struck the gas line just before 11 p.m., just as the last of Thursday's arriving flights were due at the airport, said Victor Gill, a spokesman for the Burbank-Glendale-Pasadena Airport Authority. The airport has been undergoing security-related construction projects, Gill said. Two Southwest airliners filled with passengers were forced to line up at the United Airlines gate to allow passengers to get off the planes, Gill said. Airlines at the Burbank airport do not schedule departures after 10 p.m. and no arrivals past 11 p.m., Gill said. =20 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Copyright 2002 AP
