JetBlue bumps up NY to Las Vegas flight schedule = = = = Thursday November 7, 3:27 PM EST = NEW YORK, Nov 7 (Reuters) - Low cost airline JetBlue Airways (JBLU) said = on Thursday it would move up the launch of nonstop service from New York = to Las Vegas by two months, picking up the slack left by National Airline= s, which shut down on Wednesday. JetBlue, known for offering free DirecTV service in flight to its passeng= ers, said it would offer one direct flight per day from New York's John F= =2E Kennedy Airport to Las Vegas starting Nov. 15. The company said it wi= ll add a second daily flight starting Jan. 7 and plans to add one in Febr= uary and one in March. Bankrupt National Airlines shut down its operations on Wednesday, taking = with it the only nonstop service between the New York area and Las Vegas = and its popular tourist attractions.
