There is an "airport" in Papua New Guinea which could fit this description.
I say "airport" as it is simply a dirt strip and the "terminal" is a small
wooden shed. There are regular flights between the "airport" over the
border to a town in Irian Jaya. But damned if I can remember the name of it.
