Continental Airlines Announces Renewed Daily Service Between New York/Newark And Caracas, Venezuela

    HOUSTON, Sept. 25 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Continental Airlines
(NYSE: CAL) today announced it will renew daily, nonstop service between the
airline's New York hub, Newark Liberty International Airport, and Simon
Bolivar Maiquetia International Airport in Caracas, Venezuela, starting
Dec. 12, 2002.
The new daily service augments Continental's existing daily nonstop
service between George Bush Intercontinental Airport in Houston and Caracas.
Continental previously offered daily service between Liberty International
and Caracas, but reduced the flight schedule to once a week on Saturdays
because of decreased demand after Sept. 11, 2001.

Liberty International at 4:15 p.m. daily, arriving in Caracas at 10:15 p.m.
The return flight, CO 1916, will leave Caracas at 8:30 a.m., arriving at
Liberty International at 12:33 p.m. The 737-700 series aircraft seats 12 in
the first class cabin and 112 in coach.
"We are very pleased to be able to resume Continental Airlines' daily
service between Liberty International and Caracas," said a Continental
spokesperson. "Our new flight schedule will be a great convenience for New
York-area business travelers and customers who are traveling home to Venezuela
to visit family and friends."
