Questions for you guys--Ref the AmericaWest Airbus that broke nosewheel on landing in PHX a couple weeks ago,Todays paper mentioned that only one thrust reverser was functioning and that this was acceptable/approved by the FAA. Does this mean that America West was allowed to fly with only one engines thrust reverser operating (waiting to repair the other one?) Or was this some new fuel-money saving idea to only have/use one to save a couple bucks that they were trying? The article wasnt clear and sounded like either could be true. Any of you know about this kinda stuff? Thanks Dennis
