Muse Air was formed by one of the founders of Southwest
Airlines. They operated smoke-free flights before
smoking was banned on airline flights. They changed
their time to Transtar and were eventually taken over by
Southwest. The routes operated were coast-to-coast
(Florida to California), though no transcontinental non-
stop flights were operated. AIrcraft used were MD80's.
OPerations were during the 80's. Suspended services in
1987.
