So folks, it looks as though NW has followed suit - they've put a different spin on everything it would seem. It doesn't affect the BIZ, and BZ fares nor does it affect travel booked from overseas to the US. The press release further states: "An airlines seat is a perishable product, and it's value expires forever once an aircraft departs. By requiring customers to advise NW of a change in their travel plans in advance of their departure, today's changes will allow NW to sell returned seats to other customers who wish to occupy them" Mmmm, the plot thickens - talking about double-dipping.. dlp
