British charter halting services - Tuesday 03, September-2002 Nation News Monarch Airlines' services to Barbados will be suspended from tomorrow. But, according to a release from the Barbados Tourism Authority, the airline might be asked to make itself available for business for this winter season beginning December 15. The charter, which operates out of Britain, reintroduced flights here for the last Crop-Over season and it is understood they might resume later in the year. "With the help of Monarch we are able to see some improvement in arrivals out of Britain in July and August," the release quoted BTA officials as saying in announcing the decision to try to secure Monarch Airlines for the winter.
