I just looked up for that info. in AA pages in the Apollo CRS...here is
what they say.  Look like a loophole...Issue etick and run the coupons...

ELECTRONIC TICKETS MAY BE PRINTED TO PAPER ANYTIME PRIOR
TO FLIGHT DEPARTURE WITHOUT INCREMENTAL CHARGE.
