Wonderful. :-( One of the few improvements of post-September 11 travel was that cabins were less chaotic because there were many fewer carry-ons. I see Delta is trying to fix that. OK, that's only a side effect; what they really want to do is leave more space for billable cargo. The effect on me is the same: more crowding in the overhead bins, again. I'll still fly on long personal trips and on business trips, but more and more of my mid-range personal trips, such as IAD-SBN, will now be by car, not plane. I don't have channel 9, but thanks to my new Garmin Streetpilot III GPS receiver, I at least get the neat "you are here; 2:45 until you reach your destination" screens. :-)
