Well, those of you who followed my SEA-BDL trip reports at the beginning would remember how much I hated going through security in BDL. My last flight was two weeks ago and they still had contractors out there.. This morning my 6:00 am ORD flight was jam packed and the new TSA people worked every single case very very smooth. No more "leave your laptop on the x-ray machine! " yells. The agent was very polite and said "Yes, sir. Let's put your belongings here but I'd like to ask you not to touch them until I am done searching you" .. BTW, the very first BDL-ORD flight and the 8:30 am ORD-SEA flights were booked solid. Two weeks ago I was on the same flights , on Friday though.. and they were still the same.. I guess UAL has to bring down the costs , because the demand is already there..
