BWIA staffers tour new Airbus Trinidad Express Fourteen hundred BWIA staffers and their families were treated to a display of the features of the new A340-300 Airbus. BWIA West Indies Airways opened the doors of the newest addition to the fleet to its employees to tour the aircraft on June 23. The extended BWIA family had the opportunity to see, feel and touch the newest acquisition to the fleet. The A340 Airbus is now the largest member of BWIA's fleet of aircraft. BWIA will now provide the most legroom on the Atlantic, plus it has the quietest cabin in its class. Additional considerations in the acquisition of this aircraft are that now physically challenged passengers can have easy access to the rest rooms.
