I have never seen a flight from Chicago park at 6 or 8. 6 is primarily for Australia and Hawaii flights (and shared with several airlines) and 8 is the old "Shuttle by United" terminal and is now mostly used by RJs, with any 737 flights operated to points north. I'm 100% certain you'll arrive at terminal 7, at which point you'll wander up the terminal to Gate 71 where you'll go down onto the ramp and get on a bus to go to Skywest's remote terminal across the street from LAX's main terminals. If you are hungry, eat before you go over to the Skywest remote: they only have a vending machine over there. If by some strange and bizarre turn of events you end up at 6 or 8, you'll have plenty of time to walk to 7 and get to Gate 71. You can get on a bus, but it will likely take more time than just walking the less than two-city block distance between 6 and 7 and 7 and 8. This is especially true if you get on the bus at 8 because you'll have to ride all the way around the airport. The shuttles only go one way around the "U." -----Original Message----- From: The Airline List [mailto:AIRLINE@LISTSERV.CUNY.EDU] On Behalf Of Mark Panitz Sent: Monday, July 08, 2002 9:35 PM To: AIRLINE@LISTSERV.CUNY.EDU Subject: Lax info (was UA QUestion) Date: Mon, 8 Jul 2002 12:58:08 -0400 From: Blaine Thompson <blainethompson@hotmail.com wrote Subject: UA Questions/Upcoming Trip >Am flying FWA-ORD-LAX-PSP (return: PSP-LAS-ORD->FWA) in early August aboard >UA. Is it just a walk-around, or are >shuttle buses the >norm? Well I haven't been to Lax for quite a few years but if I remember correct UA has/uses terminal 7 & 8 Skywest unless they have moved is Or was in Terminal 5 and 6 (they used to be owned by Delta I belive) American eagle is located in either Terminbal 4 or 3 all these terminals are on the south side of the central road away, I would suggest you check out the website for lax which is http://www.lawa.com it will help you out a lot and yes there are shuttle buses but since 7/8 is the last stop on the route -the A bus then returns to 1 and loops around there it would be easier to walk it - Blaine
