Ah, the F terminal at ORD. What a lovely, lovely place. ;-) Have any of you ventured all the way down to the United Express gates at the end? It is like a mad house down there. Sadly, that is the primary connection these days from ORD to upstate New York, so I've had my fair share of time spent down there. All the flights leave at the same time from the same two gates, the staff is incompetent, and I'm surprised about 90% of the passengers don't get on the wrong airplane. -----Original Message----- From: The Airline List [mailto:AIRLINE@LISTSERV.CUNY.EDU] On Behalf Of JoeThree@aol.com Sent: Thursday, July 04, 2002 1:08 PM To: AIRLINE@LISTSERV.CUNY.EDU Subject: Re: Great Lakes On Saturday, I flew Great Lakes from MSP to ORD. Great Lakes actually has the lowest fare between MSP and ORD, although, because the flight goes via IWD and IMT instead of nonstop, only people on this list are likely to take them all the way from MSP to ORD. Great Lakes uses gates at Mesaba's gorgeous new terminal at MSP, instead of UA's gates, and they have their own ticket counter at MSP. However, UA boarding pass stock was used, and the inflight magazine was UA's Hemispheres magazine. At ORD, Great Lakes uses gate F-1, a gate they share with Air Wisconsin in the "old" United terminal. So, although Great Lakes may not codeshare with UA on all flights, there is definitely a strong United "influence".
