Many major airlines parted with the 3 class service. The ones that already have the real F class they go above and beyond the concept of air travel. Look at the sleeper seats , private limos , etc. then you will see how much it costs to operate them , if you feel like you don't have the customer base to support that lavish class, you simply cancel it.. KLM/Northwest, Continental, Delta, Turkish, are the ones that I know that cancelled the 3 class service and went with 2 class.
