Tango By Air Canada Moves to Terminal 3 at Toronto's Pearson Airport on June 15, 2002 MONTREAL, June 14 /CNW/ - Air Canada would like to remind its customers that commencing June 15, the operations of Tango - its high-value, low fare, no frills service - will move from Terminal 2 to Terminal 3 at Toronto's Lester B. Pearson International Airport. The move is designed to ensure optimal customer service and reduce congestion at Terminal 2. Due to strong customer demand, Tango has recently grown to operate 54 daily flights to/from Toronto for the summer 2002 schedule, including 27 daily departures and 27 daily arrivals, necessitating the move to terminal 3. Customers with tickets for travel on Tango on or after June 15 are requested to proceed to Terminal 3 for check-in and departure. Customers arriving in Toronto on Tango flights on or after June 15 are advised that they will be arriving at Terminal 3. The Greater Toronto Airport Authority provides a free, 24-hour shuttle bus service to ensure easy, convenient connections to all Pearson airport terminals. The service runs every eight minutes at peak travel times, 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. and every 15 minutes at all other times. Air Canada has taken numerous steps to ease the transition and to ensure passengers are well informed of the move to Terminal 3, and appreciates the understanding and support of its customers in its ongoing efforts to provide efficient service at its Toronto hub.
