In a further lessening of tension between the two countries, India said today it is to allow Pakistan civilian aircraft the right to use its airspace with immediate effect.India imposed a ban on Pakistan planes flying over its territory after a suicide attack on the country's Parliament in December last year. India blamed it on militants whom, it alleged, were backed by Pakistan.The move is seen as a further lessening of tension between the Asian neighbors who have been on the brink of war over the disputed territory of Kashmir.A number of countries have been advising their nationals to leave the region because of the situation. Last week Japan Airlines announced it was cancelling one of its weekly flights from Tokyo to New Delhi because of the uncertain situation.
