Pan American Airways Introduces Portsmouth to Newark Service Connection to New York City Starts June 28th PORTSMOUTH, N.H., June 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Pan American Airways announced today that it will begin daily service to Newark International Airport from Portsmouth, New Hampshire. The flights, which are designed to offer the areas' business traveler a convenient connection to New York City and northern New Jersey, will begin on June 28, 2002, but are for sale immediately. The airline's two daily, non-stop flights from Portsmouth to Newark will lift off from Portsmouth's Pease International Tradeport at 6:30 AM and 6:45 AM. Return service will depart Newark at 5:55 PM and 6: 45 PM, arriving in Portsmouth at 8:15 PM and 8:00 PM. The Newark International Airport has recently added the AirTrain monorail to its ground transportation network. Newark AirTrain connects passengers to New Jersey Transit and Amtrak Northeast Corridor train lines via the Newark Airport Station where passengers can easily connect into New York City. The trip from the terminal takes approximately 30 minutes.
