The best travel agents will survive--maybe even do better as the 'usless agents' fold up. It appears to be the way of the future--internet e-tkts will probably become the major thing of the future. Agents who really know their product and specialize will do better than ever in the new world. (Who needs a travel agent to book a Cleveland to Chicago ticket and 3 nights at the Marriott?) Agents will become more and more professional, respected, and needed but its up to them to change. Right now the majority of agents are not that professional-one competant manager or owner and a bunch of low paid hacks-in it for the free travel. IMHO< Dennis
