-American Airlines will be adding a sixth daily flight on Chicago (O=92Hare)=
-IAH effective April 8th, with an F-100.

-Air France, effective February 10th, has switched from A340-300 to 777-200E=
R equipment on their daily flights between IAH and Paris (CDG).

-Continental Express will be ending all EMB-120 operations effective May 2nd=
. All 30-seat EMBs flying out of Houston (the only hub with =96120 ops) will=
be replaced by 46-seat ATRs coming down from Newark as a result of that hub=
going all jet the same day. Airports affected by this change are Beaumont/P=
ort Arthur, College Station, Houston (Ellington Field), Jackson, Killeen, La=
ke Charles, Laredo, Monroe, Shreveport, and Victoria. This leaves IAH as the=
only Continental Express hub with turboprop operations, Cleveland having go=
ne all jet soon after the 9/11 terrorist attacks.

-American Airlines (TWA) will be adding a fourth roundtrip on the IAH-St. Lo=
uis route effective April 7th. This new morning service is scheduled to comm=
ence with 717 equipment.

the Frontier JetExpress banner, the Frontier Airlines feeder will be using C=
anadair Regional Jets twice a day, replacing one Frontier 737-300 and supple=
menting a later 737 flight, for a total of three daily flights. Mesa Airline=
s represents Houston=92s twenty-sixth airline.

-Delta Airlines will begin codesharing on Air France 777-200 flights between=
Houston and Paris effective May 1st.

-American Airlines will be pulling two aircraft types out of IAH service in=20=
2002- the 727 and the 717. All TWA operated 717 flights will be replaced wit=
h MD-80s effective June 1st. The 727=92s last service will be on Miami-IAH o=
n April 30th, with both 727 flights to Miami being replaced with 737-800s th=
e next day. Houston will then be getting four 737-800s.

-American Trans Air is once again flying charter operations at IAH. ATA is f=
lying between Houston and Las Vegas using 757-200s on Fridays and Sundays, w=
ith an occasional charter to Cancun. Allegro remains the primary carrier for=
Cancun and other Mexico charters out of Houston.

-Delta Airlines is increasing Atlanta-IAH service. Partner Atlantic Southeas=
t Airways will be adding an additional Canadair Regional Jet flight, bringin=
g DL service to eight flights a day. It will be the last DL arrival of the d=
