Can someone please give me the mechanics point of view on why the contract was rejected? The press is reporting management agreed to a 37% pay maise and other benefits. In view of United's 2.1 billion dollar loss are the mechanics trying to get blood from a turnip? Are the mechanics asking for back pay and having United borrow the money to pay for it? Is the union indifferent to the plight of the company? Is there another side to this story? If anyone has the website for the union I would appreciate it as well. Thx Greg
