And they used the 800 series only because Pan Am was stupid enough to sell
UA its Pacific routes. This, in my humble opinion, was one of the major
reasons that Pan Am doesn't exist today.  (But wait! you say.  There is a
Pan Am.  No, my dear grasshopper, it's a Pan Am wannabe.)
