Does anyone have an idea how AC's flight #s work these days? Recently it used to be 3xxx meant a CP aircraft and CP crew. Now I'm seeing 3xxx flight #s with airbus 319 at the equipment. Do airlines have any 'master scheme' for flight #ing. i.e. - United used to run 600-640 as flights between ORD and DCA. - AC uses 7xx for flights to/from LGA, 2xx for YVR/YYC etc. - AC/UA/BA/AA etc. mostly use single digit numbers for 'prestige flights' i.e. trans-con or international I thought at one point odd flight #s were west bound and even were east-bound for AC. United seems to have renumbered all flights to/from Canada starting with 1000. Any insight from anyone? Matthew
