Call me a cynic, but I think that if AA had been flying the 717 and TWA the F100, it would be the F100 being parked rather than the 717. Parking the F100 would mean retraining a whole lot of AA pilots on the 717. Parking the 717 means all those ex-TWA pilots get furloughed. Irrespective of aircraft merits. Best regards, Stefano Pagiola
