I'd hate to see this bird go but looks like it's inevitable. I wish
Boeing made 70 and 120 pax versions of this bird. A replica of DC9-10
with modern avionics, new wing design and high lift devices would have
been a good seller. Looks like CRJ-700 will rule that market.

Dunno 'bout the future of the B717 based on comments coming out of AMR to
the
effect that they like their F100s and feel they have plenty of life left in
'em.  Okay.. how many of the 30 TW 717s will Midwest Express take?  30 is a
big number.  And if they buy/lease 'em used, how much longer can Boeing keep
Long Beach open producing a whopping 1.5 B717s a month?
