Turkish airline news

Just came back from Turkey, the land where every year few airlines go
bankrupt and few more start up. :) (A separate trip report will follow)

EUROSUN :
You can save the slides of this airline as they will become hot commodity.

AIR ALFA:
The airline parked two of its A300-600s at Istanbul Ataturk Airport. I saw
few more A300s at Antalya airport during a trip there 2 weeks ago. Friends
from Istanbul ATC confirm that they haven't seen any flights for some time.

Their only hope for survival is to wet lease some planes to third world Hadj
contracts and then a big boom on the Turkish market over the summer.

BOSPHORUS AIRLINES:
A new airline with purchased 3 A300B4s. I have no information regarding
source of the planes, but they are already parked at the apron of THY mx
hangars. They all have dark blue lower fuselage with dark blue tails and
white tops.

INTER AIR :
People at the Turkish CAA were talking about another new entrant to the
market with 2 leased 737-800s. I don't have that many details on this one,
but I will pass on the information as they become available

BAHA
Not a fan of 24hrs long door to door trips
