Hi, I have a library package[1] that uses example programs, too.  Can you
tell me why you want to install the examples?  I just left mine in the
toplevel source directory and don't install them, because I thought that
installing them would just be annoying.

Can you tell us more about this package --- so I can consider if I
should install my example programs?
