-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 According to Goss, Steven on 12/18/2008 2:47 PM: Hello Steven, and thanks for the report, > configure: WARNING: In the future, Autoconf will not detect cross-tools > whose name does not start with the host triplet. If you think this > configuration is useful to you, please write to autoconf@xxxxxxxx This warning has been reworded in autoconf 2.63, to not sound as severe. We are not planning on dropping cross-compilation support. Rather, you are facing a warning because you are invoking cross-tools not named to make it obvious that they are cross-tools (usually solvable with strategic symlinks). When invoking cross-tools with confusing names, you are opening the door to subtle hard-to-debug problems. http://www.gnu.org/software/autoconf/manual/autoconf.html#Specifying-Names - -- Don't work too hard, make some time for fun as well!
