Please consider keeping the triplet of: "arm-none-linux-gnueabi" which supports GNU tools distributed by Code Sourcery for ARM development. I have been trying to get a cross-build working, with Fedora-10 Linux, then targeting Linux on OMAP system (Texas Instruments) with an ARM Cortex A8 embedded. Not bragging, but that's silicon which is becoming increasingly popular for a lot of mobile consumer devices. I know I speak for a lot of developers targeting OMAP, and they would all probably appreciate the above Code Sourcery toolchain continuing to work for these devices (with good AutoConf cross-build and detection). If requested, I can send a log of the AutoConf process, and the command line (options) to invoke the configure. The warning I received from AutoConf was: configure: WARNING: In the future, Autoconf will not detect cross-tools whose name does not start with the host triplet. If you think this configuration is useful to you, please write to autoconf@xxxxxxxx Best regards, Steven C.
