$>./configure func_success failed. func_success failed. No shell found that supports shell functions. Please tell autoconf@xxxxxxx about your system, including any error possibly output before this message checking for a BSD-compatible install... /usr/bin/install -c ... (then works normally) System is: FreeBSD 5.2.1 autoconf 2.59b (from sources) automake 1.9.2 (from sources) libtool 1.5.10 (from sources) zsh 4.2.1 (from sources) sh and bash are present. configure script comes from Vaucanson project: svn checkout https://svn.lrde.epita.fr/svn/vaucanson For your information, same script was tested with autoconf 2.59 and the problem didn't occured. I downgraded to autoconf 2.59, because of some other issue with libtool : autoconf seems to fail to parametrize/find libtool properly (I tried many versions of libtool). (But I didn't formally isolated the bug as an autoconf bug, although It can be linked to the unfound shell problem. The error message was, during "make", ../../../libtool:1: No such file or directory: /usr/bin/sed .... ). ++ -- Louis-Noel Pouchet LRDE contact: louis-noel.pouchet@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Phone: (+33) 609.07.58.80 _______________________________________________ Autoconf mailing list Autoconf@xxxxxxx http://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/autoconf
