rpm -qa doesn't list arch by default, so I would consider this command:

rpm -qa --qf '%{name} %{arch}\n' | grep i686

rpm -q glibc

rpm based systems should only have one version of an rpm&libs,
usually the most recent unless a very compelling reason not to.

multiarch

try rpm -qa | grep i686
