The package worked in rpm, but not in yum.

Mmmh, a package without sourcerpm tag rings a certain jRPM bell in my 
head. OTOH rpm should notice its missing and fake it if it otherwise
looks 
like a binary package, but how exactly all this works depends on rpm 
version.
